Samsung SM-P905 has just popped up over at the FCC for some inspection. The tablet has been in the rumour mill for quite some time now and up till now the only hard evidence of its existence was its web profile (UAProf) on Samsung’s servers, which also confirmed that the device will feature a massive screen resolution of 2560×1600.
According to the FCC reports, the device will be a part of Samsung’s Galaxy Note series due to the presence of the S-PEN slot. The tablet will be featuring Bluetooth 4.0 LE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac and LTE connectivity. And, it looks like the 12.2-inch display rumours might be correct as the device measures 14.1-inches diagonally.
Our insider has confirmed that Samsung will be releasing this tablet in two variants, Wi-Fi-only (SM-P900) and Wi-Fi+LTE (SM-P905). He has also told has that Samsung has just started performing software tests on the tablet itself, so it shouldn’t be launching anytime soon.
