Galaxy Note 3 priced at £649 in the UK, Gear at £299, combo at £849

The prices of the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear in the UK have been officially revealed by Samsung on its official website. The 5.7-inch Galaxy Note 3 will cost a lofty £649, the Gear is priced at £299, and buying the two together will set you back £849 (a £100 off unlike Verizon’s bundle, which gives no discounts). As expected, the prices are not the most affordable you’ll see, though we can always hope to see the prices go down after launch, which will take place on September 25th.

Samsung is also offering the first 500 customers who pre-order the devices from its store at the Westfield shopping center in Stratford, London £50 off when they trade in an old smartphone. The website doesn’t mention whether this applies to just the Galaxy Note 3 or to the Gear and the complete bundle as well.
