The USITC was supposed to give their verdict related to the Apple complaint against Samsung yesterday but the commission announced that they’ve delayed the ruling by a week. No particular reason was stated but given the importance of the both the companies in the industry, we think USITC will take its time to hand out a proper ruling on August 9.
The squabble between both these companies with the ITC has been going on from August 5, 2011 and decision will come after over 2 years of preliminary ruling, initial determination and so forth.
By the time, this ruling against Samsung products come, the ITC ban which Samsung won against older iPhone and iPad will go into effect unless President Obama vetoes it.
Apple will also appeal the refusal of the ban against Samsung products on August 9 with the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
