Samsung announces Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 and 8.0 in India

Samsung has brought its latest Galaxy Tab 3 tablets to the Indian market. Out of the three that were announced last month, Indian users will get the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 aka Galaxy Tab 3 211 (3G) and Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 aka Galaxy Tab 3 310 (Wi-Fi) or 311 (3G). The Galaxy Tab 3 211 is a 7-inch model that comes with a WSVGA (1024×600) resolution display 1.2GHz dual-core CPU, 1GB RAM, 3MP rear camera and 1.3MP front camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 8GB internal memory, microSD card slot, 4000mAh battery and latest Android Jelly Bean OS. Price: Rs. 17,745.

The Galaxy Tab 3 310 and 311 are Wi-Fi-only and 3G variants of the Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 respectively and features an 8-inch display with 1280×800 WXGA resolution. The 7.4mm thin tablet is powered by 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1.5GB RAM, 5MP and 1.9MP cameras, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, microSD card slot. The tablet will also feature Multi-window, Pop up Play, Reading mode, Smart Stay.

The 3G Galaxy Tab 3 311 will go for Rs. 25, 725 and Wi-Fi-only Galaxy Tab 3 310 will sell for Rs. 21,945.
